Rhonda E. Neff
Criminal Defense Attorney
Originally from Evanston, Wyoming, Rhonda E. Neff received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in lighting design and lighting technology from the University of Wyoming in 2003. After working in the lighting field for several years, she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue her goal of becoming a lawyer. She attended the Phoenix School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor degree, graduating in the top 3% of her class. While attending law school she had the privilege to serve as an intern in the Office of the Governor Jan Brewer and the Office of the Arizona Solicitor General. She also worked as an intern with the City of Mesa Economic Development Department where she assisted in the negotiation of several developments. In her final semester of law school, she became an intern at the law firm of Kimerer Law Group, P.C.
During law school, she served as a teaching assistant to the Honorable Michael Yarnell and a research assistant to the Honorable Stephen Gerst. She was the President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Chief Justice of the Honor Court, and Vice Managing Editor of the Phoenix Law Review. Ms. Neff passed the State of Arizona bar exam with the highest bar score in her law school for that term, as well as one of the highest scores in the State.
Ms. Neff was hired as an associate attorney by Kimerer Law Group, P.C. after she licensed in November 2012. Ms. Neff has been involved in a wide range of criminal cases from low level misdemeanors to the highest level felonies. Ms. Neff has been involved in some of the most influential criminal cases in Arizona over the past 5 years. She focuses most of her practice on criminal defense and criminal appeals. She practices in all areas of criminal defense, but has made a name for herself in complex criminal litigation and criminal appeals.
Ms. Neff is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona, State of Colorado (inactive), the Federal District Court for the District of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is also a board member for the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. Ms. Neff was named as one of the Southwest’s Rising Stars.
